Greetings everyone! I am new to this but I will try to tell you a bit about myself. I am a disabled, homebound, 53 year old mom/grandma to beautiful 7 and 8 year old boys. They are my grandson's, but I have adopted them to try to give them  a" better life".   I took them under wing at ages of 1 year and 1 week old, relatively. 

Up until now, I have been doing okay by them. I am in the process of getting settled into a rental in Georgia. I came from Michigan, which I now find had much more to offer the disabled or low income family. I moved to Georgia after I found I have to have a leg amputated. I need to be near someone who can take care and nuture my boys during my hospitalization and my recovery. 

However, since moving to Georgia, I have had to give up on many of the benefits I had in Michigan.  I have never experienced this type of poverty before!  Georgia is a state not inclined to help the poor or needy. I do not want to go on, talking about my woes, as most of you have heard so many crying out or have troubles of your own.  If you want to know more, please read my blog.  Thanks to all of you who have taken the time to read this profile page...please keep us in your prayers.

I am needing some help, have been on the phone for three days trying to get money owed for work done. Some are avoiding me, others say they just don't have it right now and my rent is past due. Unfortunately, there are many good people posting as well, I understand the pure terror and panic in not knowing which bill to pay and where to get the money. For anybody who can help me with two months rent, next months is due.  It has been a frustrating  experience knowing that we gave and helped when we could and now we are on the needing end, with no bright outlook.  We do have a lot to be grateful for and have grown immensley in learning from this situation.  But we really could use a good samaritan right now. 

I am a travel agent and work with commissions so if you know anyone who is planning a trip have them e-mail me this will help greatly as well, if they book their trips through me. Thank you  

I am a single dad raising my 14 year old daughter.  I am working only part-time because the company I worked for for the last 10 years downsized and left me unemployed.  In addition, I am a full-time student majoring in Computer Science, Information Technology and Web Development.  I am asking if someone could help me with my school funds so I can continue my education and raise my child in a good school.

It is very hard and I am doing my best that I can possibly do.  However, my daughter goes to private school because I don't like the way the educational system is in Philadelphia.  I am trying to raise money for my next year, so that I can receive my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.  Currently, I have maintained a 3.7 gpa and have made Dean's List 4 semesters straight.  I will pay back the money with interest after graduation. 

I am being very honest and wish everyone the best in their future endeavors and for helping me out with anything they can donate to my cause.

I'm a college freshman struggling to pay my way through college. I have bills upon more bills, and it's been very overwhelming. I'm currently in debt and have too many loans already. I volunteer, have an internship, and do well in school, making it hard for me to have a steady job. I'm no stranger to hard work though. I've worked non-stop since I was 14 years old, before I started college. My mother is single, and struggling herself. She works 3 jobs as it is, trying to help my sister and I through college. I'm a very grateful, kind and caring person. I'd appreciate anything anyone could offer me. It'd be good to know that good samaritans still do exist.
